Mountain refuge Refuge de Plana Canal

On the head of the Añisclo cannon , the Refuge de Plana Canal occupies a useful position for those who move on the southern side of the Massif of Monte Perdido without seeking a shelter of services, but a basic support of passage. At about 1,740 meters, between the Plana Canal's neck and the edge of the large valley excavated by the Bellós River, it fits better in crossing days or on routes linking ports, high fences and accesses from Sobrarbe than as a simple isolated destination. Its environment refers to medium and high mountain pirenaica, open and exposed to time changes, within the area of Ordesa and Monte Perdido .
