With low cloud or reduced visibility, a simple map approach may become less evident on the ground, especially if it is intended to link hills, high slopes or continue towards nearby peaks as Teysachaux or Dent de Lys . That's why it's interesting to wear clear layout, clothes for sudden changes and time range.

As a mountain reference, its main utility is to offer basic protection within a transit but sufficiently open and changing sector to demand prudent decisions of orientation, water and road continuity.
