Mountain refuge Abri de l'Alisier

At 620 meters of altitude, this coat is located on a half-mountain and forest terrain where the demand does not come as much by the level as by the planning of access and orientation within a wide network of trails. In the environment of Maisonsgoutte , within the French Grand East, it works mainly as basic support for those who travel on foot and need a guard point in a senderist transit area.

Its interest is especially in the form of long days or journeys linked to such routes as the GR 5 , GR 531 , GR 532 , the Sentier des Ducs or the Chemin des Châteaux forts d'Alsace. More than a destiny in itself, Abri de l'Alisier can be used to value a stop or a small detour if the stage allows. This decision should be made with a well-revised map or track, because the presence of several nearby routes alone does not clarify the immediacy of access or real time from each main itinerary.

Logistics requires some autonomy. The nearest registered source, Fontaine du diable, is almost 3 kilometres away, and the others appear even further away, so it is not wise to have immediate water next to the mountain shelter. Nor is there sufficient data to deduct equipment or level of conditioning, so it is reasonable to put it as a simple coat and prepare the day with a margin of time, especially if several paths are linked or the area is crossed without close support.
