Orri appears on the Rodès slope, in the Serrat and Plein Soleil reel sector, within the French Eastern Pyrenees. The altitude, 348 meters, places it far from the classical high mountain environment, but it is not therefore appropriate to read it as a minor coat: in this low and open level, exposure to heat, wind and time changes can make the day much more conditional than its level suggests. The nearby relief, with references like Puig Pedrous or Roc du Maure , helps to understand a terrain of half-loms, short crests and orientation sometimes more useful with map than by simple visual intuition.

Its practical interest is above all to serve as a point of support or reference within the paths of the senderist that cross this part of Occitania, including the Tour des Fenouillèdes and long-range strands that link comarcs and slopes. More than the base of summits, it fits as a coat on transition routes, long days or navigation between tracks, serrats and local roads. In logistics, the most useful data is the water: there is a source about 840 meters and another something beyond the kilometer, reasonable but not immediate distance if you arrive late or with heat. It is therefore necessary not to have the supply resolved at the last moment and to maintain sufficient autonomy. In the absence of precise information on equipment, capacity or interior state, its use must be considered with a prudent approach, especially if it is intended to pass night or to integrate it into a continuous journey.
