Between Manigod and the slopes of Aravis

In the mountain that ascends above Manigod , at 1,650 meters, this free shelter appears as a useful reference to be placed on the map and better read the ground. The area links pasture and forest earrings with more open reliefs towards the massif of Aravis , so its position helps to understand the transition between a still friendly valley access and a more exposed environment as you gain height.

Abri des Follières can serve as an intermediate coat when the day is long, the weather changes or it is appropriate to fail an increase before continuing to higher levels.
