Mountain refuge Cabane de Stor Aften

The Aravis summits mark the character of the Cabane de Stor Aften . From its 1.595 m high, at the end of Manigod and on the side of the montée du Bré, this coat is left in a range of medium-high mountain where the relief begins to be organized between slopes, cords and steps towards the nearby crest, with close references such as the Pointe de Merdassier, the Dent du Châtelet or the Pointe des Aravis.

More than a shelter linked to a single itinerary, it works as a support within the Tournette-Aravis sector and the network of trails that links local circuits with more continuity routes, such as the massif GRP. This position gives you an interest in dividing days or in bringing about cross-section changes in orientation, something relevant in an area where the land can alternate forest sections, pastures, and more open up to hills and loins.
