The Reugi Sant Jordi , in the term of Ogassa, it fits well in the exits of trails with a certain autonomy and in the days of liaison through the saw, rather than as a simple walk stop. The proximity of the Taga and the Puig de Sant Amand helps to understand its function: it serves to move through a very visible divisive on the valleys of the Freser and the Ter.
From this area of the Ripollès, the mountain appears quite clear and with wide views, something common in the Serra Conivella and in the nearby Serra Cavallera. This open landscape facilitates general reading of the relief, but also leaves more exposed to the wind, the sun or rapid fog changes.
