Mountain refuge Refuge Vittorio Sella

In this context, the Refuge Vittorio Sella , at 2,588 meters, as a clear reference to move through the head of the valley and better read the mountain around it. The proximity of elevations such as Grivola , Herbetet or Punta Rossa della Grivola places this shelter in a very defined alpine environment, where time change and exposure can condition the day.

Its position in the municipality of Cogne makes it a useful point for linking routes of journey and tours of greater route through the Valley of Aosta.
