Mountain refuge Cabane de Rio Grand

On a low level for what is often understood as a mountain shelter, the Cabane de Rio Grand is located at 486 meters, in the sector of Marcillac- la-Croisille, within Corrèze and the area of Nueva Aquitaine. The nearby relief does not respond to an alpine landscape or high mountain pirenaica, but to a succession of lomas and small puys that help more to be oriented by soft cords than to bring about long ascension. Practical use

Its role fits better as a coat or support on half-mountain trails than as a basis for demanding summits.
