Mountain refuge Bergerie du Vallon du Colombier

In the field of Robion , within the inner Provence and in the surroundings of the valley of the Sapine, the Bergerie du Vallon du Colombier fits better as a reference of passage and basic coat than as a destination in itself. Its height, 441 meters, places it on a low or medium mountain of Mediterranean relief, more linked to ravines, slopes and small cords than to a strict alpine environment.

This position helps to read the ground between the valley bottom and the nearby elevations of the sector. Towards the environment, the Mourre de Cairas which exceeds 700 meters and gives an idea of the gap available in the area.
