At 732 meters, Abri vers la vierge du bois de Cudrette is located on a land more than half a mountain and forest than in an alpine environment, within the sector of Évillers, in the French Doubs. Its location fits better as a support coat on a long day than as a destination in itself: a discreet point to guard in a wavy relief area, with modest cords and close references such as Mont Séverin or Roche de Hautepierre, both nearby elevations that help to place the shelter between lomas and small side changes.
