Its position, next to the Pas de l'Âne sector and within the Vorepe environment, is close to itineraries that can link with long journeys such as the Traversée de la Chartreuse or the Tour de Chartreuse, as well as local routes of variable length. At 1300 meters, it is not on extreme ground, but on a level where time can change quickly and where it is appropriate to measure well the effort from the valley and reach with margin.
