At 1,550 metres, at the end of Aísa and very close to the axis of the Somport, it is in a mountain strip where the relief quickly gains height towards summits such as the Pico de Aspe, A Raca or the Tobazo. This contrast between the bottom of the valley and high slopes helps to understand its function: it serves to break through the sector and not to concentrate all the activity in a single run, especially if you link itineraries of the Arlet, Agua Torertas or the Val d'Aspe environment.
