Mountain refuge Abri de Mourière

To plan an exit along the roads of Ronchamp This coat fits better as an intermediate reference than a destination in itself. It appears in the sector of La Selle, next to the Chemin du Diniou, within a relief of half mountain where the routes allow to link lomas, soft hills and side changes without entering into alpine land. At 440 metres of altitude, Abri de Mourière can be used as a pause point, safe or withdrawn if the day is complicated by tiredness, rain or poor visibility.

Their practical interest is increased by the network of trails passing through the area. The Sentier des Ducs and the GR 59 in its stretch Ballon d'Alsace - Saulnot, as well as local tours moving towards Grand Rosbeck or La Bormillière. This places it in a useful strip to manage the effort in short walks or links between secondary valleys around Ronchamp and the Haute Vallée de l'Ognon. The nearby terrain combines forest, roads and small elevations. To the environment stand out levels such as Le Mont de Vannes which exceeds 700 meters, and several terrils of the Ronchamp mining basin, elements that help to read the landscape and the orientation of the march.

It is not appropriate to propose it with a high mountain shelter logic or to entrust logistics to unconfirmed services. The registered sources are several kilometres away, so the water must be provided before leaving. It is also reasonable to have basic autonomy and use this point as a support within a well-measured day, especially if it is intended to link long routes or move between sides with changing meteorology.
