At the end of Enveitg, on the French side near the Tor de Querol and the border environment with Andorra and the Catalan Cerdanya, Orri d'En Corbill It appears in an open mountain strip, linked to the pastures and loins of the Mas d'en Franco sector and the Sola del Cavaller. At 1,900 metres, the shelter is already above the background of the valley and closer to a relief of transition to cords, hills and secondary summits than to purely hikers.
Its interest is in this intermediate position: it does not respond to a large glacier circus as well as to a zone of link between sides and long-range routes. In this sector there are well-known pyrenees, such as the HRP , GR 7 and parts of the Senda Pirenaica GR 11 , so it can serve as a support to divide days or to resolve the cross between the French Cerdaña, the steps towards Andorra and the reliefs that close the horizon in the south and east.
It also makes sense as a reference point for moving through a land where the summits are not always large three thousand, but they do draw a varied mountain and are exposed to rapid changes in time. Near names such as Pic de Bena, Roc del Castellar or Pic de les Tosses help to understand the type of environment: wide slopes, crest of changing orientation and distances that, without being extreme on the map, can be made slower if there is fog, wind or wet terrain.
In practice, it should be raised as free shelter for users with autonomy. There are no immediate sources next to the coat and the invented water points are several kilometres away, so it is not wise to have close recharge without first checking the actual situation. The same logic applies to general logistics: as it is a relatively isolated point, it is worth reaching with a margin of light, sufficient water and revised weather forecast.
More than a destination in itself, this orri fits as a useful piece within a mountain day in the Alta Cerdaña. Its location in Occitania, close to classic pirenaic crossing axes but outside the valley's cores, makes it a discreet support for those who need road continuity, basic coat and a clear reading of the ground of link between valleys and divisions.
